Salesperson Job Description

Direct and assist customer with disirable floor covering, custom tile shower and backsplash tile options. Achieve maximum sales, profitability, and account penetration within an assigned store by effectively helping customers find their desired products, selling the company’s products and/or related services using interior design skills through a software based program.

Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

Maintain a very large repeat and referral customer base by offering superior customer service.

Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

Salesperson Duties:

*Comply with tasks given by supervisor/upper management

*Be a team player. Maintain a positive attitude & atmosphere with customers & employees.

*Make sure all customers are treated with the very best service using your natural talents and interior design expertise .

*Determine customer's wants & needs using interior design skills to maximize floor covering sales.

*Consistently grow clientele base by maintaining daily contacts, follow-ups, interior design skill and adequate closing percentages to maximize floor covering sales.

*Effectively navigate through RFMS or the preferred software.

*Enter customer information and floor covering sales in the computer database.

*Send/respond to emails.

*Maintain a neat and orderly desk and showroom.

*Maintain a neat and orderly desk by keeping it free of clutter & customer invoices.

*Ability to drive and perform “in-home” and “on-site” measurements and estimates.

*Follow up within two days of first contact of potential customers

*Follow up within two days after installation to thank & make sure interior design expectations have been met.

*Contact potential accounts ie, builders, contractors, realtors, interior designers, property managers, restoration companies, insurance adjusters, carpet cleaners, trade professionals etc…in an effort to create more floor covering sales.

*Comply with tasks given by management

*Treat everyone with respect.
